About Ben

Before joining MRHFM, Ben focused on civil rights cases including freedom of speech and access to healthcare for people in prison. He has litigated cases in Oregon state and federal trial courts, the Oregon Court of Appeals, and the Fifth and Ninth Circuit U.S. courts of appeals. Ben greatly enjoys getting to know his clients and understanding their individual goals, needs, and stories. Ben is honored to represent victims of asbestos exposure and their families and now focuses entirely on obtaining justice on their behalf.

Ben is active in Oregon State Bar governance as an elected member of the House of Delegates. He also serves on the Fee Dispute Mediation Panel of the Oregon State Bar.

Ben has lived in Portland, Oregon since 1999. He enjoys backpacking the mountains of the Pacific Northwest in the summer and kayaking and bicycling year round.
