Jena Conway - Associate

About Jena

Jena is an associate in the firm’s Louisiana Office, where she has the privilege of representing victims who have been tragically affected by mesothelioma. Prior to joining MRHFM, Jena, a Louisiana native, began her legal career as a staff attorney for a Louisiana state district judge in the 19th Judicial District Court.

Jena then went on to work at one of Louisiana’s largest plaintiff’s firms, where she worked closely with the Louisiana AFL-CIO in the representation of its members in mass tort litigation.  Jena oversaw the firm’s bankruptcy claim and settlement department, client relations department, as well as participating in all aspects of the litigation of her clients’ claims from inception through settlement/verdict.

In addition to asbestos litigation, Jena has also had experience in the areas of construction litigation, commercial litigation, family law, and personal injury.

Jena earned a Bachelor of General Studies from Louisiana State University, with minors in Political Science, History and Psychology.  In 1999, Jena graduated from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge.  She was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 1999.

Outside of the office, Jena spends her free time reading, watching sports, hanging out with her family and friends, and relaxing with her two daughters and their dog, Scout.

Professional memberships and associations include the Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, and the Baton Rouge Bar Association.

Professional admissions include all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Court for the Western District, Middle District and Eastern District of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
