Sam is an associate attorney in the firm’s Portland, Oregon, office where he represents victims of mesothelioma.
Sam grew up in Lawrence, Kansas (go Jayhawks) to a blue-collar family. Sam’s father worked in a factory and his mother taught preschool. Sam knows firsthand the value of hard work because he worked his way through college as a dishwasher, linecook, tutoring other students, and working the soybean fields in the hot Kansas summers.
After graduating college with a chemistry degree and working a few years managing a nonprofit entity dedicated to helping adults with disabilities, Sam moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend law school. Sam used his legal education to work on behalf of injured victims ever since his first year of law school when he worked as a law clerk at a personal injury firm.
Prior to joining MRHFM Sam graduated law school with honors and recovered millions of dollars representing victims injured by dangerous products, medical malpractice, and commercial truck accidents.
At MRHFM, Sam exclusively represents victims of mesothelioma.
Outside of the office Sam spends his free time hiking, camping, gardening, boating, floating the Clackamas River, target shooting, volunteering with various organizations and animal sanctuaries, and adventuring with his fiancée Krysta and their two dogs: Roxy and Jet.
